Kara Homes & Associates is currently seeking a full time, in-house short sale negotiator!

We are currently seeking a full time short sale specialist to negotiate short sales in-house at our College Park Orlando office.  Our ideal candidate would have proven, verifiable experience in the mortgage underwriting, loan processing, and/or short sale negotiating fields.  A positive, CAN DO attitude is also a must, as you will need to make decisions and use your best judgment in a fast paced environment while being helpful and friendly to clients and associates.  Here are the main qualifications that we require:

• A minimum of 2 years experience working with mortages/short sales
• A moderate familiarity with real estate documents and process
• Work with others or alone to accomplish goals in a high pressure environment
• Advanced knowledge of short sale procedures and processes
• Advanced communication and customer service skills, as you will sometimes need to discuss details at length with other Realtors, co-workers and clients, as well as dealing with distressed sellers
• Strong problem solving abilities; the ability to "think on your feet"
• Must provide professional references from a related previous job experiences
• Must be a multi-tasker; you will need to juggle ~50 files at once
• Must be able to get at least 8 files approved per month
• Must be available to work Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm, and have reliable transportation

Salary plus generous bonuses for approved files.
